It was back in 1898 when name Belica was first mentioned as the name of the estate in beautiful village of Medana, Slovenia. Great grandfather Pepo was the one who started the winemaking in early 1900. It was not easy for the family to fight through both wars and maybe for winemaker even harder after war times.
Today Belica is one of the most beautiful estates in Brda region. They are producing beautifully fresh white wines, the queen of which is Rebula (local grape variety), delicious Rose and matured barriqued red wines.
And what would wine be without food to enjoy with. At Belica you will be served with home matured prosciutto. A must visit place in Slovenian Brda.
